Jim Carrey marries longtime girlfriend Min Ah in private ceremony
The 64-year-old Canadian actor wed his partner in a small ceremony after they first appeared publicly together earlier this year.
LOS ANGELES — Canadian actor Jim Carrey has married his longtime girlfriend, Min Ah, in a private ceremony in Los Angeles.
A spokesperson for the 64-year-old actor confirmed the news to CBC News, People, E! News and Entertainment Weekly.
TMZ, which was first to report the news, said the couple shared their vows in a small, private ceremony.

The wedding comes seven months after Carrey and Ah made their first public appearance together at the César Film Awards in Paris in February.
While accepting an honorary award at that ceremony, Carrey delivered his entire acceptance speech in French.
"Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever. Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah," Carrey said.
He added, "I love you, Min Ah. And finally, thank you to the funniest man I have ever known: my father, Percy Joseph Carrey who taught me the value of love, generosity, and laughter."
Carrey's daughter, Jane Erin Carrey, and his grandson, Jackson, attended the Paris awards with Ah.
Very little is known about Ah. Hello! magazine reports she is 32 years old, exactly half Carrey's age.
The couple had been dating for several years before their public debut. They were first photographed leaving a Judd Apatow-hosted charity comedy show in Los Angeles in February 2022.
This is Carrey's third marriage. He was married to Melissa Womer, Jane's mother, from 1987 to 1995.
He then married his "Dumb and Dumber" co-star Lauren Holly in 1996. The marriage lasted less than a year.
Carrey later had a five-year relationship with actor and model Jenny McCarthy from 2005 to 2010. He was also engaged to Renee Zellweger after co-starring with her in "Me, Myself, and Irene" in 1999.
In a 2020 interview with Howard Stern, Carrey reflected on his past relationships.
"I don't regret. I don't have those things. But I do appreciate the people that have come through my life for the good that they gave me," he said.
In his 2020 book "Memoirs and Misinformation," Carrey described Zellweger as his "last great love."
Carrey has been largely quiet about his personal life. In 2022, he announced he was "fairly serious" about retiring from acting.
"Well, I'm retiring," Carrey told Access Hollywood, adding that he was "fairly serious" about it.
He said he would only reconsider for a script "written in gold ink" and added, "I really like my quiet life and I really like putting paint on canvas and I really love my spiritual life and I feel like, and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say as long as time exists, I have enough. I've done enough. I am enough."
His representative had no further comment on the marriage.
