Generis Group and IC Group ranked among Canada's Top Growing Companies
The Globe and Mail's 2026 ranking includes 376 companies based on three-year revenue growth, with Generis placing 157th and IC Group at 204th.
TORONTO — Two Toronto-based companies have been named to The Globe and Mail's 2026 ranking of Canada's Top Growing Companies.
Generis Group, a B2B event organizer, ranked 157th overall and sixth in the marketing category, while technology firm IC Group Holdings Inc. placed 204th.
The annual ranking, published in Report on Business magazine, measures companies based on three-year revenue growth.

Generis earned its spot with three-year revenue growth of 167 percent from 2022 to 2025.

"What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that it reflects sustained progress, not simply growth in scale, but growth in the strength of our business, the industries we serve and the relationships we've built along the way."
IC Group, which is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol ICGH, reported three-year growth of 131 percent.
"When you look at this year's list, you see the ambition, innovation and resilience of Canadian businesses, and it's an honour to be recognized among them," said Duncan McCready, president and CEO of IC Group.
This marks the fifth time Generis has appeared on the list, having first been ranked 120th in 2019, followed by 209th in 2020.
The company returned to the list in 2024 with 124 percent three-year revenue growth and ranked 136th in 2025 with 264 percent three-year growth.
Jason Cheddie, co-founder and chief operations officer of Generis, credited the company's team.
"What I'm most proud of isn't the growth itself; it's the people behind it," Cheddie said. "Our team has stepped up, raised the standard and consistently put the customer first."
Generis was acquired by Emerald in August 2025, and in August 2026, Emerald and Questex came together under a new corporate brand called Forge.

The ranking program, which launched in 2019, is voluntary and requires companies to complete an application and supply financial documentation for both 2022 and 2025.
To qualify, a company must be Canadian-run and have at least $2 million in annual sales in its most recent fiscal year.
In total, 376 companies earned a spot on this year's ranking.
